We are Digidesign Protools specialists in Broadcast Audio Post Production with expert skills in recording, editing, dubbing, & mixing.
We work as Editors, Sound Designers and Producers for all kinds of programme material in TV & Radio with significant expertise in Dolby Surround & 5.1 work, as well as drama and documentary production across all 5 BBC Radio Networks.
Our style is to produce a solution that meets the clients needs rather than make the client do it ‘the way it has always been done’!
We are able to resource and facilitate all our clients in a "One Stop Shop" not only in both TV & Radio broadcasting but in the "New Media" sectors like Podcasting, Multimedia, Internet re-purposing and CD Rom projects.
Other work has included sound design for The Faith Zone in The Millenium Dome as well as a range of Multimedia, CD Rom and Internet projects We have also undertaken as well as a number of museum designs including The Whiskey Exhibition in Edinburgh and Canterbury Tales in Canterbury.

Audio Post Production
We 'paint pictures' with sound!
In all its areas this is what we do best. For TV & Radio from drama to documentary, music to “new media” audio, we can deliver using the industry standard Digidesign Protools system.
We have 2 permanent dubbing suites as well as portable systems too!
Radio Drama
This is the largest area of work for us. We record, edit and mix award winning radio dramas for transmission across all the BBC Networks both for the BBC and various independent producers like Watershed Productions, Realize Ltd etc.
Doumentaries
Another major area of our work is the production of features & documentaries for transmission on the main Radio Networks. These range from complex multi-layered documentaries like "In the Footsteps Of.." to editing & mastering discussion series where each prog can have up to 1000 edits in it!
Music Albums
This is a growing area of our work mainly in the 'acoustic' sector of album work. The last 3 albums from Wellspring have been exclusively recorded, edited & mixed by us in Protools. Other projects have included a children's choir album, a solo tenor's album as well as producing the backing tracks for the world's largest Christmas Carol Concert!
Restoration
Another growing area of our work is Restoration work. 2 recent projects have involved the removal of large quantities of hum and buzz from unique recordings sucessfully even when the hum was louder than the main audio!
Re-Purposing
A relatively new area of work for us is re-purposing audio for internet use.
Eg we have repurposed 2 cassette based English speaking courses for the internet with each course containing over 15 hours of material.
Recently we have prepared audio for eLearning courses with 300 to 400 clips in each course as well as preparing audio for bbc.co.uk web site.
