  1. Thank you Avid! You do care about us little people. Time to save up some rupees. I’m definatly doing this! I’m really looking forward to VCAs, X-form, and retaining the advanced automation features I’m used to. Happy, happy, joy, joy…

  2. Glad they’ve done this, but that’s quite a price hike from where it was. Glad I upgraded my toolkit with PT9!

  3. Hi Ben,

It is, but you have to remember that for $800 you are getting all the features that come with Pro Tools HD like surround tracks, lots more tracks, auxes and so on and so it is still a stunning deal. Take a look at the comparison chart on the Avid site, everything that has a * in the Pro Tools 10 column you get for $800

  4. Totally fair point Mike. I just meant that it’s a lot more than when the upgrade was first introduced with PT9- $349. At least you get a lot for your money though.

  5. One of the features that almost no one talks about and is a great improvement in the field record track settings, is like having Titan inside PT10HD. I’ve used it for 2 months and it as been great. Titan Price is €1554
