Even though they have moved on to Pro Tools 10, Avid have released an update for Pro Tools 9, taking it up to v9.0.6.
Do read the pdf which lists out all the fixes, which are too many to list here, but also what I found even more interesting was the information listed under Compatibility in the pdf, the things that still break Pro Tools. For example did you know that if you format your Mac drives using the ‘Case Sensitive ‘option Pro Tools won’t record to them.

Seven radio producers – all based in the north of England – have joined forces to launch a new co-operative venture – ‘Radio Wizards’. It’s equally remarkable that their aim now is to work together on every kind of sound production... except radio!
"It’s taken over a year to get to this point," says ‘wizard’ Mike Thornton, "but now we’ve got a viable business plan, we’ve launched our website and we’re already starting to attract commissions.
