PCM Thru Control – The Dolby E decoder has a “PCM Thru” option so that PCM audio passes through if the Dolby E decoder is enabled.

Seven radio producers – all based in the north of England – have joined forces to launch a new co-operative venture – ‘Radio Wizards’. It’s equally remarkable that their aim now is to work together on every kind of sound production... except radio!
"It’s taken over a year to get to this point," says ‘wizard’ Mike Thornton, "but now we’ve got a viable business plan, we’ve launched our website and we’re already starting to attract commissions. I am still unclear as to whether one can simulate the fold down mix that the sky box applies to 5.1 mixes for stereo viewers (such as myself – whose 5.1 exploits are banished to the studio) from the meta data – i.e simulating what the dolby blue brick audio toolbox thingy does
Any answers?

SoundCode Stereo LtRt (which is bundled with SoundCode For Dolby E) can simulate the stereo fold down that a DVD player or digital television set top box will do. Dolby metadata can be set for an LoRo fold down and an LtRt fold down so you should make two presets in SoundCode Stereo LtRt that matches the metadata settings for each. Then you check both of them while mixing.
