Waves announce a new way to buy their plug-ins

Your WavesYour Waves is a new way to buy just the plug-ins you want from Waves rather than be locked into buying bundles which may contain plug-ins you don’t want. Choose from three different ways. This is from their web site….

Artist Choice – Audio heavyweights Andrew Scheps, Gil Norton, Thom Russo, Ross Hogarth, and Scott Martin Gershin have each hand-picked a selection of the Waves plug-ins they just can’t live without. And this is just the beginning, with many more artists to come.

Quick Choice – Now, choose any 5 plug-ins from selected groups to get the most bang for your budget. Know exactly how much you intend to spend? Quick Choice has the plug-ins for you.

Custom Choice – For the very first time, you can compile personalized collections of Waves plug-ins! Tailor your selections to suit your production needs—the exact plug-ins you want, no more, no less.

All plugins purchased at the YourWaves store are registered in your account separately; each has its own serial number. This gives you maximum flexibility:

Upgrades – YourWaves lets you select plug-ins from different bundles. By registering each YourWaves plugin separately, you can later decide which of the plug-ins you want to upgrade and when you do, all upgrade options are open to you.

For example: Say you bought 3 plug-ins: V-Comp, L2, and CLA-2A. If you want to upgrade in the future, you can upgrade the L2 to the Masters bundle, V-Comp to V-Series, and CLA-2A to CLA Classic Compressors. If the plug-ins were bundled, your upgrade path would pretty much be limited to Mercury.

Waves Update Plan – Waves update plan is calculated for each plug-in. You decide which plug-ins to renew Waves Update Plan coverage for, and when.
